Bottom fishing is the rule in winter time with grouper, snapper, seabass and grunts. The NMFS has reduced the bag limit of grouper to zero until March 15th and then gag grouper will be zero bag limit until March 30th. You can keep one red grouper per person after March 15th. You may grouper fish for catch and release anytime.

King and Spanish mackerel will soon be invading the gulf waters as they head north for summertime. They are always very hungry as they swim by.... So be ready and have all your weapons on lock and load.
